The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Kim Il Sung University of Politics, the highest military and political academy for the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces, on February 24, 2025 and made a speech in which he clarified the main way of building a strong army and the DPRK’s army-building orientation.
Kim Jong Un said that the arms devoid of ideology are little short of ironware and it is a conclusion that the DPRK reaches definitely once again that it is the basic way of building a powerful army to strengthen the political force of the army on a preferential basis and in a qualitative way. Proceeding from this, he clarified, the building of the KPA should be invariably and thoroughly oriented toward giving priority to making it strong politically, ideologically and morally and toward steadily training the combat ranks to be elite and then toward developing the military and technical equipment in all domains including the nuclear armed forces at the highest level.
