The Juche idea has demonstrated its validity and vitality more and more since the outbreak of world health crisis caused by COVID-19.

The Juche idea is an ideological and theoretical weapon that clarifies scientific ways for solving all problems arising in the building and activities of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

In order to strengthen its ranks and push ahead with revolution and construction with success, a working-class party should place man at the center.

In order to hold position of the driving force in revolution, masses of people should be led by the party and the leader.

The leader is the top-intellect of the popular masses and the center of unity and cohesion.

The party is a political organization that realizes the leader’s ideas and leadership.

Without the leader’s ideas and leadership, the party is unable to lead revolution and construction to victory.

The leader, the party and the popular masses should form an integral whole. Only then, can they be the powerful driving force of the revolution.

The Eighth Congress of the WPK was held in January, 2021 under the guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the DPRK armed forces.

In his report on the work of the Central Committee of the Party made at the Eighth Congress of the WPK, Comrade Kim Jong Un advanced a new fighting line and strategic and tactical policies to bring about an epoch-making advance in the socialist construction.

The report noted that serious mistakes that should be corrected necessarily were revealed in several fields including economic work under difficult and complicated internal and external situations.

The WPK has relied consistently on the Juche idea and its ideal. That’s why the WPK becomes the revolutionary party of a new type for the first time in the communist movement history.

The WPK sees that a modern general hospital is built and enforces very positive policies so that the state can take care of the aged people.

At the 6^th National Meeting of War Veterans held on July 27, 2020, General Secretary Kim Jong Un said that the WPK was proud of the wartime generation with dignity.

According to General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the WPK waged merciless struggle to resolutely do away with bureaucratism, illegality and corruption in order to defend the people’s interests.

The Juche idea is a guideline for global independence and peace.

Today, the immortal Juche idea is further developed and enriched and shines invariably as the eternal guiding ideology of the Korean revolution and the era of independence, thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The Juche idea is now arousing support and response among all people as the great ideology that illuminates the fundamental way of carving out the popular masses’ destiny, the road of independent development and prosperity for countries and nations and the way of realizing global independence.

Therefore, the study and dissemination of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism presents itself as the most important task for the Juche idea followers.
