The DPRK checked inroads of malignant virus for 2 years and 3 months, that is, the longest period in the anti-epidemic history of the world in preventing the pandemic and, when the virus made inroads into its territory, it recovered complete stabilityin anti-epidemic work in a short period and thus performed an unprecedented miracle in the world public health circles.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw that preemptive and powerful blockade measure was put into effect in the first period when the world was in public health crisis and took such preemptive, decisive and special measures as to direct all state efforts by organizing the State Emergency Epidemic Prevention Headquarters and the emergency anti-epidemic headquarters. Kim Jong Un advanced original anti-epidemic strategy and tactics at important Party meetings and energetically led to further intensify the emergency anti-epidemic work while maintaining maximum tension and high vigilance whenever danger of making a breach in anti-epidemic barrier was created.

At the 8^th meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8^th Central Committee of the WPK held in May 2022, Kim Jong Un saw that the national epidemic prevention work was upgraded to the top-level emergency anti-epidemic system and clarified principles, tasks and ways to cope with the sudden epidemic crisis, including the issue of completel ychecking spread of the malignant virus. Kim Jong Un visited the State Emergency Epidemic Prevention Headquarters to put forth detailed orientations and ways of recovering stability in a short period. Acquainting himself with the emergency epidemic prevention work everyday, Kim Jong Un went to pharmacies in Pyongyang City to grasp the supply of medicines, took an emergency measure of making pharmacies across the country switch over to 24-hour service system and sent medicines prepared by his family to the people in South Hwanghae Province.

Kim Jong Un read and guided 1 772 documents with 22 956 pages and convened over 10 important Party meetings in succession in relation to the top-level emergency anti-epidemic campaign.

Kim Jong Un’s energetic leadership and parental love became a source of inexhaustible strength turning the war against the virus into an anti-epidemic campaign of breaking through the crisis on the strength of concerted efforts of the Party and the people and communist traits and virtues.

Combatants in the army medical sector did a lot of good things for the people while giving necessary medicines to citizens more promptly and correctly, thus deepening the army-people relations. Over 2 400 people who had worked as medical workers in the past volunteered to participate in medical service activities and doctors and nurses devoted their all to treat patients while eating and sleeping on the spot.

Many officials and working people displayed beautiful traits of sending medicines, anti-epidemic materials, food, funds, etc. to treatment and prevention institutions, families of war veterans and honored disabled soldiers and those in difficulty. Over 8 000 mobile service groups of different kinds were formed and over 30 000 volunteers made forward-supply of food, medical supplies and daily necessities, thus positively materializing conveniences of the citizens.

The anti-epidemic and public health sectors established treatment method suited to constitutions and features of the Korean people while developing new testing techniques and expanding testing ability. They took thoroughgoing measures of securing promptness, correctness, safety and efficiency in supplying medical supplies, thus contributing to check of the virus spread and minimizing casualties.

As a result, the DPRK controlled in a short span of time the anti-epidemic crisis, that was getting worse as the number of the fevered recorded over 390 000 to the maximum a day in the early period when the top-level emergency anti-epidemic system was run, and turned the anti-epidemic situation by 0.0016% in fatality rate.
