In November 1975, Chairman Kim Jong Il initiated the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement, the mass movement of a new form, on the basis of a scientific analysis of requirements of the developing revolution and successes already achieved in carrying out the three revolutions.
He gave precious instructions on the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement on January 1, 1976.
The Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is a new mass movement that enables to accelerate socialist construction to the maximum by organically combining the transformation of the people’s idea with the collective innovation in the building of economy, culture and defence by applying the principles of speed campaign and ideological campaign.
The main task of this movement is to step up the ideological, technical and cultural revolutions in a comprehensive way, and its important feature is that it is a mass movement on a high stage for ideological transformation, a mass movement for technological transformation and a mass movement for cultural transformation.
The way of vigorously conducting the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is to hold fast to the movement as an important Party work at all times as well as to set appropriate stages, define tasks to be done correctly at each stage and review and assess them properly.
