Chairman Kim Jong Il gave field guidance to the building of Mts Jongbang and Kuwol into cultural resorts of the people.
The officials concerned told Kim Jong Il, who was to give field guidance in early morning, that May 1 is holiday which all the people across the country spend and the world working classes commemorate and thus he should rest himself even for hours.
Expressing gratitude to them, Kim Jong Il said that, though all the people spend May 1 as holiday, it should be the more vigorous workday for revolutionaries. He continued that many people would come to Mt. Jongbang to take rest as it was holiday and thus it would be good to look round it in early morning so as not to disturb them.
Giving field guidance to Mt Kuwol following the visit to Mt Jongbang, Kim Jong Il said it was a very pleasant rest to work on holiday.
