President Kim Il Sung visited the then Kangson Steel Plant to kindle a fire of Chollima movement in the difficult period after war.

Engraving in their minds the Kim Il Sung’s confidence, Jin Ung Won’s workteam members raised the torchlight of the Chollima movement while establishing a new habit of innovating and advancing all together under the slogan One for all and all for one!

In their efforts, the President saw a reliable appearance of the DPRK working class who had turned out in the grand Chollima march.

The President saw to it that their example was generalized throughout the country and, in this course, Jin’s workteam was awarded the title of Chollima Workteam first of all.

A significant meeting of awarding the first title of Chollima Workteam to Jin’s workteam was held on March 17, 1959.

With the birth of Collima Workteam, the torchlight of the grand Chollima march was spread fiercely into the flames of struggle arousing the whole country to creating new miracles and merits and, later, the DPRK could shine as a country of miracles, Chollima Korea, before the world.
