Early in January of one year Chairman Kim Jong Il had a talk with officials about women.
Kim Jong Il told them that the DPRK women who had grown up under the care of President Kim Il Sung and were boundlessly loyal to the leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea were praiseworthy, indeed.
Saying that they play a big role in a general forward march of the Songun revolution, Kim Jong Il said that the DPRK had many women revolutionaries who devoted their all to the Party and revolution, the country and people and it was a pride and dignity of the Party which had a brilliant history of the women’s movement.
