There is an outstanding mother behind a great man, and behind her there is a great mentor.

President Kim Il Sung delivered a historic speech at the National Meeting of Mothers held scores of years ago.

In his speech, the President gave valuable teachings about edification of children, saying that mothers had an important duty of rearing their children into fine builders of communism.

The President said that the edification of children required no special methodology and the children would surely grow into decent human beings if mothers educate their children by using many positive examples which were being made in the country.

Indeed, a great mentor was the President who devoted his heart and soul to have mothers in the DPRK conscious of their honorable duty before the times and revolution and gave valuable teachings for the edification of their children.
