The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said meaningfully at a congress that the Workers’ Party of Korea thoroughly struggles not for any isms or authorities but for protecting the people, upholding them with sincerity and realizing their well-being and interests.

The people’s Party—this is the only reason for existence, the top symbol and the eternal feature of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

There are different parties in each country of the world. Those parties insist their own isms and doctrines but the WPK is the only one who regards it as the only reason for its existence and the top ideal to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.

The WPK has recorded victory in its long history of a socialist ruling party as it has made clear the reason to exist for the people from the early days of its founding to the present day.

The WPK has given top and absolute priority to interests and conveniences of the people in mapping out all policies and implementing them, made all wealth of the society serve their well-being and struggled to provide them with cultured life.

Great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the WPK’s guiding ideology, is the people-first principle that regards them as masters of the revolution and construction and enables to rely on them and make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people. Top principle of the Party activities is also to constantly improve their material and cultured life.

It is the absolute and invariable will of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un that the Party exists for the people rather than the latter exist for the former.

By formulating that the people’s Party is its top symbol, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un clarified once again that the WPK is, indeed, a motherly party which works for the people and makes selfless, devoted efforts for their good.
