    The world responds to and deeply study the Songun politics, a new mode of politics put forward by leader Kim Jong Il.

    In his writing, history candidate academician Vladimir Tolstikov praised highly the Songun politics. He wrote as follows.

    “The Songun politics of Kim Jong Il is the original politics unprecedented in the history of socialist politics. I would like to say without hesitation that Kim Jong Il-style politics, the Songun politics is the ever-victorious treasured sword and the lifeblood of socialism and the example of the socialist politics in the 21^st century, the politics of independence. I’d like to stress that it is the achievement of world history to be regarded as the important one that leader Kim Jong Il put an end to the existing political idea and the mode of politics, which had been considered as an unchanged formula for thousands of years, and started a new history of politics, the history of the Songun politics with the leadership of Songun as required by the socialist construction and the era in the confrontation with imperialism.”

    Russian President Putin assessed that it is result of the military capabilities built up by the Songun politics that the DPRK overpowers her partner in the political negotiation with a big power and enforces foreign policy initiatively.

    Different countries and nations aspiring after independence and dignity, peace and prosperity are now responding to and studying the Songun politics, the mode of politics created in reflection of the DPRK’s reality.

    The fact that the groups for the study of Songun politics have been organized and are making activities in many countries including the US and UK proves how ardent the aspiration for understanding and following the Songun politics is on a worldwide scale.

    Indeed, the Songun politics is the most powerful mode of politics and the ever-victorious treasured sword, for national defence and prosperity at present when dominationism is rampant.
