One August day in 2000 when he came to a forestry workers’ village in Songgan County, Jagang Province, Chairman Kim Jong Il was pleased to see children chuting the chute merrily in a pleasure ground. When they saw Kim Jong Il, the children were so happy that they shouted hurrah at the top of their voices.
Looking at the children, Kim Jong Il said with a smile on his face that the children in the village would be delighted with chuting. He waved to the children affectionately for a long time. He told officials that he was much pleased to see a good pleasure ground in such a mountain village where children could play and enjoy to their hearts’ content, adding that it was one of his pleasant days. The Chairman turned back towards the pleasure ground and waved again to the children.
