On lunar January 15 of one year when all people were spending relaxing time, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un came to the construction site of the then Pyongyang City Home for Aged. (Pyongyang Municipal old people’s home)
Looking round different parts of the construction site, Kim Jong Un recognized that they planned to furnish the rooms with beds. Saying that the aged like floor-heated rooms but some of them like beds, he said that it was necessary to combine floor-heated rooms properly with bedrooms in furnishing the home.
Kim Jong Un taught what sorts of tiles should be floored in washrooms and bathrooms lest they should fall down on the floor, adding that the washrooms in the sleeping rooms should be arranged conveniently for the aged.
Kim Jong Un said that it was necessary to build a vegetable garden and a greenhouse so that they could work to have good appetites. He said that, if the aged did a work suitable for their health in the garden and greenhouse, it would be good for their health and the vegetable they produced would be helpful for the economy of the home. Kim Jong Un continued that when vegetable were produced in quantity, they might be sent to the neighboring Pyongyang Baby Home and Pyongyang Orphanage.
Kim Jong Un said that it was necessary to arrange a floor-heated space at dining room, furnish it with low tables and hollow out grooves in the floor under the tables so that they could sit down conveniently with their feet down on the grooves to have a meal. Kim Jong Un said that it was also necessary to build the courtyard of the home into a park and equip it with tables and chairs so that the aged could have a meal there.
