The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a historic letter to those attending the 4^th Conference of Primary Officials of Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League on September 18, 2014. In the letter he said that the Workers’ Party of Korea regards the work of the youth league as no less important than the Party work and that giving importance to young people is the Party’s consistent policy and eternal strategic line.

Foreseeing the protracted nature of the revolution in the early days of its foundation, the WPK considered it as a strategic line to attach importance to young people and has trained them into brave warriors who will implement the revolutionary cause of Juche and put them forward as vanguard detachment, main force in charge of difficult and laborious sectors of the revolution and construction and as backbone force shouldering the destiny of the future.

Today the DPRK has ushered in a heyday of the youth movement and demonstrates its prestige as the one and only youth power in the world that perfectly settled the youth problem.
