The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the modernized Mangyongdae Children’s Camp in early June 2016, a few days before the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union.
Looking round the mountaineering knowledge dissemination room, Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction over its wonderful arrangement. Then he looked attentively at a model board of mountain-climbing path in the room.
Asking how long the mountain-climbing path is, he said to an official of the camp that it was necessary to measure the correct distance from the start to the turn and erect mileposts on the mountain-climbing path, so that mountain climbers could be able to know correctly how long they climbed the mountain or how long they would climb it.
