The Workers’ Party of Korea values dearly the mother’s devotion to and efforts made for the rising generation like the lifeline that firmly guarantees the future development of the WPK and state.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said on high rostrum of the 5^th National Conference of Mothers held in December 2023 that our mothers are, indeed, truly precious persons who link the new generation with the same blood of patriotism and are the first builders of the beautiful future, thus adding brilliance to the social position of the mothers.

No one but only all the mothers in the DPRK received such noble title unprecedented since the term “mother” came into being.
