    At the end of November, 2013, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited Samjiyon Grand Monument.

    The Supreme Leader looked round with solemn feeling the bronze statue of President Kim Il Sung in military uniform in the historic days of making advance into the homeland and the subsidiary group sculptures depicting the members of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and the people.

    The Supreme Leader said that the monument whose erection was initiated by Chairman Kim Jong Il is a picture of heroic epic proving the immortal exploits of the President who organized and led the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory and the validity of the revolutionary cause of Juche through profound ideological and artistic description, saying that the more he looks at the monument, the more wonderful and fascinated view it gives as a picture.

    The Supreme Leader expressed his faith and will by saying that he hardened his determination and will to accomplish to the end the revolutionary cause of Juche started on Mt Paektu while touring the monument, an eternal asset of the Korean revolution and a base of education in revolutionary traditions.

    Firm determination made that day by the peerlessly great man was, indeed, that of the invariable faith and will to further maintain the revolutionary tradition of Paektu as the eternal lifeline of the Party and the revolution with change of generations and development of the times.
