Saying that the WPK is a party that exists for the people and serves them, Chairman Kim Jong Il turned the Party work definitely into a work with the people, the work to take care of them with warm love for them so that they can enjoy worthwhile and happy life.

The Chairman saw that the criterion of mapping out lines and policies, the value of the Party work and the criterion of appraising benefit were dignity and interests of the people and that the Party work system became the one that serves them. Saying that a brilliant method can be found only when one goes among the people, discusses with them and mobilizes their wisdom, the Chairman saw that officials regarded it as a unique principle to detect their faults in themselves, seek something to do around them and find solutions among the people.

The Party work style, which officials go among the popular masses and serve them, was established by the energetic leadership of the Chairman. As a result, the WPK turned into a true motherly party that strikes its roots everywhere the people live and takes care of their destiny and future.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the idea of building the Party into a party which serves the people and made the Party make selfless, devoted efforts for the people. As a result, the people’s support for and trust in the motherly Party gets higher and the harmonious whole of the Party and the people is consolidated as a rock.

The WPK is so strong and its future is bright as it achieves the single-hearted unity that no governing party has ever achieved and regards it as its foundation by defending dignity, rights and interests of the people and devoting itself for them.
