The Land Law on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea stipulates that household vegetable plot of each cooperative farmer shall be between 20 and 30 phyong(=between 0.006 and 0.01 hectare) as set out in the Rule of the Cooperative Farm.
The law was adopted as Supreme People’s Assembly law No. 9 on April 29, 1977 and was amended as Supreme People’s Assembly decree No. 8031 on June 16, 1999.
