One November day in 2021 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un dropped in at the Junghung Farm during his visit to Samjiyon City that had been turned into an excellent standard of modern mountainous city.

Noting that the village in the seat of Junghung-ri is a model farm village, a model of rural rejuvenation, he said that it is the Party’s decision to build the village of such standard in Samjiyon city but in all parts of the country.

All the farm villages throughout the country should be built on the same level of the village in the seat of Junghung-ri and it is not an intemperate dream but our fighting task and goal and an undertaking that must be done in our generation, he stressed.
