One November day in 2016 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace.
Kim Jong Un, who dropped in at the math club room, acquainted himself in detail with operation of the club including how many members there are in the club and whether the schoolchildren gain more benefits from the extracurricular education than from the education at ordinary schools.
After a while Kim Jong Un told officials that the Party organizations should not neglect the arrangement and operation of extracurricular education bases but pay due attention to the extracurricular education through the schoolchildren’s palace. He stressed that education of the younger generation is the undertaking to which the Workers’ Party of Korea attaches big importance.
