One day in August 2018, Supreme Leader
The Supreme Leader made field guidance to the area at midnight to acquaint himself with the area on the spot after making repeated study of the materials for hot springs in order to turn the area into the comprehensive, modern and exemplary hot-spring resort so as to make the DPRK people receive medical treatment and enjoy sight-seeing.
The rain was pouring down when the Supreme Leader was going round hot springs in the county. However, the Supreme Leader whose long-cherished desire was to build an excellent hot spring resort for the promotion of the people’s health, hot spring resort for the people’s cultural and emotional life, went round the several places to personally learn about the realities and took relevant measures, regardless of pouring rain.
Even in heavy rain, the Supreme Leader went round hot springs in Onjong-ri of Yangdok Country despite high and low mountain ranges and steep passes. Seeing the hot-spring water gushing out at the temperature of 80℃, the Supreme Leader wore a bright smile as if he had discovered a treasure and felt relieved of his pent-up fatigue.
