    The study tour group which was led by Chairman Kim Jong Il arrived on the banks of the crystal-clear Phothae Stream on June 10, 1956.

    It was lunchtime.

    Since they had not prepared for lunch when they left Lake Samji, they had to cook rice by themselves.

    The girls and boys were so competitive to make lunch.

    With his sleeves tucked up, the Chairman told all of them to have a rest as he would do it. The Chairman said that the supply officers of the Anti-Japanese Guerilla Army provided their comrades-in-arms devotedly with every condition. He continued that, since he had lived with the anti-Japanese guerillas, he would prepare lunch for the group as a supply officer.

    Soon cooking pots started to boil giving pleasant smell of rice and dishes.

    The Chairman asked the members to sit in a circle and served them food. The Chairman was just like the supply officer whom the anti-Japanese guerillas called mother.

    Friendly looking at the members who were having their food with relish, the Chairman said that their honour and pride to make the first study tour to the revolutionary battle sites is great, and that in every work those who make a start can have high sense of honour and pride.

    That day the members strongly felt once again the pride of making the first study tour to the revolutionary battle sites with Chairman Kim Jong Il.
