People’s Demand Should Be Criterion of Appraising Products

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un once visited an enterprise in the northern part of the country.
Looking at every product in its show-room, the Supreme Leader gave a precious instruction on the criterion of appraising products.
He said that in the previous days it took much labor, materials and time to make such products but now it could be mass-produced with less labor by saving materials. He highly praised that it was a great technical innovation.
Then, he suddenly asked about impressions of those who had used it.
Officials said with pride that all of the users liked them and an official of one unit came to see the products and went back, much moved.
Listening to their answers, the Supreme Leader said that they appeared good to him, too. The Supreme Leader said that they were good if the users said they were good ones, and then he praised them highly once again.
The users the Supreme Leader meant were none other than the people.
Demand of the people who use products should be a criterion of appraising the products. If the people like them, they are good products. If the people don’t like them, they are not good ones—this is the intention of the Supreme Leader.
