Over 100 Korean Women Abroad Came to Embrace of Love

In April one year, Chairman Kim Jong Il partook with overseas compatriots of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) in a pleasant family atmosphere.

Availing themselves of this glorious opportunity, Chongryon officials including chair persons from prefectural offices and their branches and patriotic businessmen toasted the Chairman’s health.

The Chairman thanked them and encouraged them to work hard in good health.

Suddenly, young women called “Chairman!” anxiously. They were members of a local song and dance group active in the lowest units of Chongryon. Officials were quite surprised. The officials had planned to make some among hundreds of Chongryon participants toast the Chairman in consideration of his labours.

When the atmosphere reached climax, all of the Chongryon officials and businessmen toasted the Chairman, but the young women did not. The young women wanted so anxiously to toast the Chairman that they acted arrogantly to realize their lifelong wish at this opportunity provided for the first time.

Reading their minds, the Chairman welcomed them with a bright smile on his face.

Over a hundred young women rushed toward the Chairman. The officials concerned were at a loss.

The Chairman looked at them with eyes of benevolence and showed parental love to them.
