International Children’s Day is one of the most enlivened days in the DPRK.

Thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s love for the future, June 1 is kept in their mind as the happiest day, the holiday to look forward to.

When he visited Pyongyang Orphanage, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made every child take yogurt with a straw. This is a moving story born on the International Children’s Day several years ago.

Greeting this day, children are singing and dancing merrily and cheerful sports meetings are taken place at nurseries and kindergartens in the DPRK, attracting many people who love their children.

They have no parent but the children in baby homes and orphanages in different parts of the country are brought up into happy ones under benevolent care of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state. Their June 1 is spectacular, indeed.
