The 5th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the 8^th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held in Pyongyang, capital of the DPRK in June 2022.

Watching on TV the enlarged meeting that reviewed in detail the successes achieved in implementing the tasks set forth by the WPK, the DPRK people recollected the last 6 months in 2022.

In January 2022 the people heard the news of the 4^th Plenary Meeting of the 8^th WPK Central Committee which put forward a strategic policy that would propel dynamically the comprehensive development of the country.

In February when they greeted the Day of the Shining Star, the biggest national holiday, the DPRK people were moved by the land breaking ceremony of monumental edifices.

In March the DPRK’s strategic armed forces demonstrated modernity and absolute great power giving a big national pride to its people.

In April the DPRK recorded much in its journey of 2022.

The people moved into new houses in Songhwa Street and Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District and military parade was held demonstrating once again the invincibility, mightiness and innovative development of the DPRK’s armed forces…

April in the socialist Korea was full of delight every day.

In May, the DPRK tided over the anti-epidemic trails encountered for the first time after its founding, on the strength of wise leadership of the great Party Central Committee and the invincibly single-hearted unity.

In June the 5th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the 8^th WPK Central Committee was held, clearly proving the Party’s service for the people, that becomes more devoted before complicated trials, and the spirit of DPRK people who made vigorous efforts to tide over an unprecedented national crisis by responding to the great leader’s call.

Achievements made for the last 6 months foretell the exciting future of coming 6 months.
