The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un advanced an idea on the building up of the state anti-epidemic capability in his report On the Tasks for Controlling the Current Emergency Anti-epidemic Situation and Building up the State Anti-epidemic Capability made at the 5th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the 8^th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The main contents of idea on the building of the state anti-epidemic capability are to firmly arm all the people with the WPK’s anti-epidemic policy and raise their anti-epidemic consciousness so as to turn the anti-epidemic work into the all-people work, to establish the state anti-epidemic regime and system to perfectly block and exterminate outbreak, inroad and spread of epidemic, and to firmly consolidate the material and technical foundations for coping with long-term threats and challenges by increasing the state investment and guarantee in anti-epidemic sector.
