The Supreme Leader develops further the Juche idea.
Profoundly proving eternal truthfulness, validity and vitality of the Juche idea, he enriches the Juche idea with new propositions and theories. He clarified that the road of independence and socialism is the invariable path, the road of Juche to be covered by the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean people.
Based on the explanation of the truth that dignity and prosperity of a country and nation hinges on distinguished leader, he further develops leader Kim Jong Il’s idea and theory of perpetuating immortality of the leader.
The Supreme Leader clarified that immortality of the leader is precisely that of the leader’s revolutionary idea. On its basis, he made clear that great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the eternal guiding ideology in the era of independence. By inheriting and developing leader Kim Jong Il’s idea and theory of accomplishing the cause of immortalizing the leader, he clearly explained that holding the leader in high esteem for all ages is not symbolic but to invariably hold the leader at the top post of the revolution and make the revolution and construction true to the ideology and intention of the leader.
The Supreme Leader further develops the Juche-oriented theory of revolution.
He gave scientific explanations to the problems arising in setting it as the highest program of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean revolution to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and in its realization. He comprehensively elucidated such principles and ways to strengthen and develop the WPK into the eternal Party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for all ages as the issue of holding Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the eternal guiding ideology of the WPK and the issue of establishing thoroughly the Party’s monolithic leadership, thus developing in depth the Juche-oriented ideas and theories of Party building.
The Supreme Leader named the ardent and devotional patriotism shown by leader Kim Jong Il through his practical example Kim Jong Il’s patriotism and put it forward as the essence of socialist patriotism, the eternal soul and sentiment of Kim Il Sung’s nation and the driving force in building a prosperous country. He also clarified the idea of building a powerful socialist country by dint of Kim Jong Il’s patriotism.

He presented the idea of respecting and prioritizing the people, the idea of giving absolute importance to their interests, the idea that the officials should become the scout and engine who makes way through virgin in the van of the masses and the idea that the officials should become true servants who share good and bad with the people and make every effort for them, thus developing the great leaders’ view on the people and its embodiment, the Juche-oriented leadership method on a new phase and demonstrating its tractive force and vitality to the full.
