    President Kim Il Sung continued to create and applied the Juche-oriented military strategy based on the role of man, the popular masses in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War, eventually achieving a brilliant victory.

    The mission of strategy, a form and method of armed struggle is to make a rational use of armed forces and fully display its might to be victorious in war.

    In general, army should have scientific military strategy. Only then, can it win victory in war by strengthening its defence capability and defeating any aggressors with its strategic and tactical superiority.

    President Kim Il Sung clarified that military strategy should be based on political and ideological superiority of revolutionary army, conform to the concrete situation of one’s country and make enough consideration of developing situation of military technology and armed equipment level, thus elucidating scientifically the principles in creating and applying military strategy.

    The President applied the Juche idea in military activities to create the man-centred strategy and tactics and develop and complete them.

    Man, the masses of people are the subject of revolutionary war. Therefore, the military tactics that rely on them and mobilize them can only be a form and method of powerful armed struggle of winning victory in the revolutionary war by enhancing their role continuously.

    Superiority of the Juche-oriented tactics is, in a word, the ever-victorious one that the enemy’s numerical and technical superiority is defeated by strategic and tactical superiority based on political and ideological one.

    The objects of revolutionary war conducted by the popular masses are, in general, the imperialist aggressors who are superior in number and technique. So it is necessary to create and apply the strategy with which they can defeat the numerically and technically superior enemy with strategic and tactical superiority in order to be victorious in the revolutionary war.

    With its scientific accuracy, the Juche-oriented military tactics further developed and enriched continuously by the President in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War made it possible to keep maintaining strategic and tactical superiority in all battles against the enemy and to win them.

    The Juche-oriented strategy is the most revolutionary one that enables the soldier masses to demonstrate revolutionary enthusiasm and creativity to the fullest extent and the most scientific one that integrated superior combatant forms and methods developed historically and that applied characteristics and demands of modern war.

    The basic demand of the Juche-oriented military strategy is to fully display politico-ideological strength and military and technical strength of the army and conduct every operation and combat action in conformity with the concrete situation and military science.

    In the period of the Fatherland Liberation War, President Kim Il Sung created many strategies such as conducting continuous attack all along the frontline, annihilating through encirclement, forming the 2^nd front by regular units, general powerful counterattack, positive positional defence battle, tunnels battle, assaulting battle, airplane and tank hunters’ team movement, the sniper’s movement, intensive utility of artillery power in mountainous regions, mobile artillery battle, etc. These were original and outstanding military strategies that had never been recorded in the history of world wars.

    President Kim Il Sung was, indeed, the outstanding military thinker and theoretician and master of military strategy who created the man-centred military strategy on the basis of the immortal Juche idea and applied it brilliantly in the Fatherland Liberation War, thus achieving great victory in the war.

    Depending on the Juche-oriented military strategy created by President Kim Il Sung, the Korean People’s Army could win brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, after defeating the US imperialists that boasted of being the “super power”.

    With the Juche-oriented military strategy, the powerful weapon, the KPA will be ever-victorious in the overall confrontation against the US imperialists and their following forces.
