One day Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the native place of hero Ri Su Bok who blocked the enemy’s pillbox with his chest in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War.
Heading for the hero’s native home, Kim Jong Il stopped walking in front of the mouth of a road to hero Ri’s home and said in deep emotion that the road was really significant as hero Ri probably went to school and to the front through the road.
After a while, Kim Jong Il said that hero Ri’s mother would anxiously have waited for her son to return home along the road, but many young people were standing on the road instead of hero Ri, her son.
Entering hero Ri’s home, Kim Jong Il grasped his mother’s hands warmly. Kim Jong Il said to her that hero Ri had not returned home but instead those who visited her were all sons and daughters of hers.
