In February one year, Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected a unit of the People’s Army in the forefront.
That day Kim Jong Il underlined the importance of heightening ideological consciousness of servicemen.
Stressing that the servicemen should have a high degree of ideological consciousness in order to defeat the enemy, Kim Jong Il earnestly instructed that when the People’s Army has a high degree of ideological consciousness, they can reliably defend the arms in their hands and safeguard destiny of country and people whatever wind may blow.
Kim Jong Il stressed that the arms with no ideology are more useless than a stick and thus it is essential to prepare all the servicemen into the indomitable revolutionary fighters boundlessly loyal to the Party and the leader by intensifying political and ideological education among them.
