One August day in 1977, Chairman Kim Jong Il told officials the need to do work with the masses well in order to improve and strengthen the Party work.
Kim Jong Il said that, only when the Party strikes its root deep among the masses and gains support from them through the efficient work with the masses, can it fully display its might as a leadership force and carry on the revolution and construction with success. He clarified detailed tasks and ways to do so.
Kim Jong Il said that it is the general orientation of the Workers’ Party of Korea for the work with masses to firmly rally the broad masses of the people around the Party and the leader by educating and remoulding them.
