One April day in 2019 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave a field guidance to the construction site of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area.

Kim Jong Un stressed that as the Party directs with mind enormous funds and labour to the construction of the tourist area for the people, it is necessary to ensure the quality of every building at the highest level so that it should be perfect 50 or 100 years later, too.

He gave detailed instructions to spruce up the area including the issue of designing all the buildings on the principle of optimization to make them useful and convenient, the issue of economizing the building materials and constructing the buildings suited to the modern aesthetic sense, the issue of setting up outdoor clocks on buildings and other places for people bathing in the sea, etc.
