Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on April 25, 2022 and paid his respects to the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.
Kim Jong Un said that the sources of the spiritual strength that enabled the revolutionary forerunners to repel the Japanese imperialists, armed to the teeth with such modern weapons as plane, tank and gun, with Models 38 and 99 rifles wrested from the latter are the thoroughgoing conviction that they would emerge victorious as long as they had President Kim Il Sung, the justness of the revolutionary cause, optimism towards the future and the steadfast fighting spirit to beat the enemy even though they may die a thousand death.
Saying that, as they had such conviction and fighting spirit, the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters could defeat the Japanese imperialists through the unyielding struggle even in the worst adversity and difficulties and achieve the historic cause of national liberation, he stressed that immortal feats of the anti-Japanese guerrillas who created the brilliant traditions of the Korean revolution and laid the solid foundation of the country would be conveyed through all generations.
