The people’s happiness overflows in Kyongru-dong, Pyongyang, DPRK. It is a proud creation which intensively reflects the development of architecture based on the people-first principle and a cradle of all blessings which symbolizes civilization and prosperity in the Kim Jong Un’s era.

Kyongryu-dong was built on the site of President Kim Il Sung’s residence.

The President, who had devoted his all to make his people well off, planted and cultivated new strains of crops and vegetables and even bred domestic animals at his residence.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un earnestly said that if he had heard that his residence was removed and modern terraced flats were to be built for the people in the area, the President would have been pleased, adding that he thinks as if the President intentionally left such a wonderful site unused for the people.
