Dark clouds of war have hung in the sky of the Korean peninsula, a front line of the anti-US struggle, for a protracted period of several generations and centuries. However, the DPRK people and the Korean People’s Army, the independent guards, destroyed every aggressive machination of the US and the imperialist allied forces and fully displayed might of the DPRK, a fortress of anti- imperialist independence and a citadel of peace.

In the congratulatory speech delivered at the 4^th National Conference of War Veterans held in July 2015, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un declared with pride that the US has sustained one humiliating reverse after another since the 1950s and this has become its shameful tradition and, by contrast, the heroic DPRK is proud of the tradition of thrillingly beating it hard whenever the overbearing power runs amuck.
