There are different paints which are produced in the world. Among them acrylic paint is widely used for strong resistance to sunlight and rain and superior in hardness and other mechanical properties.
Officials, scientists and technicians in the complex established the production process of acrylic paint, which has been a monopoly of a few countries in the world as it is difficult to introduce production technology and manufacture and operation of equipment, with their own technology, materials and equipment and succeeded in the trial at once.
Saying that quality of the paints and Terracottem flowing out from the acrylic paint production process manufactured by the DPRK’s own strength and technology is the world level, the Supreme Leader stressed that it was a proud success made by chemical industry to establish and operate the production process with domestic technology, materials and equipment and that it proved eloquently that there is no fortress unconquerable when the self-development principle is maintained.
The Supreme Leader said… Today I saw the best one, indeed. I am very much pleased to see the newly established acrylic paint production process in the Complex. It is not because I saw the process produces acrylic paint of our style but because I fully realized that it is possible to put chemical industry on a Juche and modern basis on the high level with our own strength, technology and materials once we determined to do.
