What Are Basic Human Rights?

Basic human rights are the most important ones that are basis and source of all rights of man. In other words, other rights are inconceivable without the basic human rights.

In this respect, basic human rights include the socio-political right, the right of dignity, the right to existence and the right to inviolability.

Socio-political right is to realize socio-political independence. Socio-political independence is realized by the freedom and right to participating in state power, state management and socio-political activities, in other words, by securing and exercising the socio-political right. Man is unable to be provided with the economic and cultural rights if he fails to exercise the socio-political right as the master of politics.

The right of dignity enables man to be respected in society.

Man is the most dignified and valuable being in the world. Everything in the world has value only when it serves man by regarding man as the dignified and valuable being.

Man’s dignity and value can be fully provided only by exercising the right to free development and human treatment while enjoying social and personal equality.

Distinction of personality is insult of man’s dignity no matter what reason it may be done, and enslavement of man and application of inhuman and dishonorable morality and compulsion are the infringement of man’s dignity, the human rights.

Economic life is a field of social life indispensible for man’s existence and development.

Man can maintain his existence as a human being and add brilliance to his life only when he has and exercises freely the right to existence, the right in the economic life whose main contents are the rights to labour and ownership.

Without securing personal freedom, it is inconceivable for man to exercise any right. Man must be secured with personal inviolability that is not to restrict or arrest man without good reason. Only then, can he exercise fully his human rights.
