Aged people in the DPRK, who enjoy blessed life thanks to warm benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea mark the International Day of Old Persons in delight every year.

True to the WPK’s noble intention to ensure that the climate of respecting and holding up the revolutionary forerunners including war veterans becomes a national trait, the Party and government officials visit the old people’s homes across the country to take warm care of life of the aged people who devoted their whole life to the building of a prosperous and powerful country, offering them souvenirs and foodstuffs.

Public catering establishments at all levels provide the aged people with special service. Aged people are treated with hospitality, enjoying national food and other different kinds of dishes.

Welfare service establishments also provide them, who have remained faithful to the country and the people, with colourful services.

Thanks to benevolence of the WPK, the DPRK aged people enjoy their life in youthfulness and delight.
