Preparatory committees were formed with due ceremonies in Switzerland and Egypt to mark the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation and in Thailand to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Present at the ceremonies were the figures from political circles and members of associations of friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study groups in relevant countries.
The preparatory committees set the periods of celebration on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation and the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK and decided to hold colourful political and cultural events including celebration meetings, seminars, photo and book exhibitions and film shows while creating atmosphere of celebration during the periods.
