A commemorative lecture was given in Romania to mark the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s election as President of State Affairs of the DPRK.
A commemorative lecture entitled “Tireless Devotion to People’s Wellbeing” was given at the conference hall in Capital Hotel in Bucharest, Romania, on June 6, 2026, under the auspices of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Romania.
In the lecture, chairman Vasile Orleanu of the committee said as follows.
June 29 is the day of significance marking the 10th anniversary of election of Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, as President of the State Affairs of the DPRK. It can be said that all his speculations and activities are directly linked with the people only. In recent years, many modern creatures have been erected in the DPRK thanks to his devotion and labour made for providing the people with bigger happiness and more cultured life conditions. Splendid and modern new streets were built in the capital city in large numbers in the past 5 years and, in particular, modern regional-industry factories and rural dwelling houses corresponding to their own regional features are being built in 20 cities and counties every year in line with the Regional Development 20×10 Policy advanced by President Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs. All such realities in the DPRK are inconceivable apart from his outlook on people, who holds the people sacred. Visiting the DPRK on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, I came to witness the amazing successes made in the DPRK under his distinguished leadership. I visited the DPRK on several occasions and found that the DPRK changed its looks beyond recognition on a modern basis by making miraculous successes to startle the world in the past 10-odd years. Seeing such realities with my own eyes, I came to believe firmly that the people in the DPRK are the happiest ones in the world and its future is bright as they have President Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs.
The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Romania and all its members will launch their activities more positively to introduce and propagate immortal exploits brought by noble outlook on people of President Kim Jong Un of State Affairs and study and disseminate truthfulness and validity of the Juche idea.
