Juche

    A grand military parade for celebrating the 70^th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army was held at the Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang, capital of the DPRK, on February 8, 2018.

    Displayed at the front of the square were the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

    The square on which the parade to be held was seethed with the boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, the founders, the builders of regular revolutionary armed forces, and deep confidence in the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who unfolded head of the cause of founding the Juche-oriented armed forces and put up the general national strength and strategic position of socialist Korea on the highest phase.

    A ceremony of guard of honor of the Korean People’s Army services took place to greet respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

    Amid the playing of the welcome music, Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of the WPK, the state and the army, and Ri Sol Ju appeared at the platform of the square.

    The minister of the DPRK People’s Armed Forces inspected the parade units, congratulating them on February 8. Then he reported Marshal of the DPRK Kim Jong Un that the military parade would begin.

    A signal trumpet for the start of the military parade was sounded and a 21-gun salute boomed amid the music of the “Song of General Kim Il Sung” and the “Song of General Kim Jong Il.”

    The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made congratulatory speech at the military parade.

    Then military parade of the services, corps-level units, arms, specialists and army surgeons began.

     The columns of mechanized units marched past the square while demonstrating the invincible military capabilities of the strongest revolutionary armed forces.

    The march of strategic forces unit, the symbol of the DPRK’s military capabilities imbued the masses with self-praises of inexhaustible might of Korea and redoubled their confidence in victory and courage.

    The writings including “Celebration of February 8”, “Single-minded Unity” and “Devoted Defence” overfilled with the revolutionary spirit of the Korean people to win together with the People’s Army, the invincible powerful armed forces, the ultimate victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Mt. Paektu, in any storm and stress, and the flags of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Republic were unfolded on the floor of the square.

    Amid the energetic advance of marching military band while forming the writings “Victory”, fighters left a trail of the shape of a five-color fan to specially decorate the end of the parade.

    The military parade for celebrating the 70^th anniversary of the KPA demonstrated the faith and will of the army and the people to arm with the immortal ideas and exploits of founding the armed forces of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and unite in one mind around the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and thus further consolidate the socialist country as the invincible fortress of socialism no enemy dare approach and bring earlier the final victory of the Juche revolution.
