On the occasion of the 77^th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, meetings were held during the period from September 16 to 28, 2022 in Thailand, Mongolia, Russia, Hungary, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Italy, the DR Congo, Nigeria, Uganda, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Egypt to form preparatory committees for celebrating the founding anniversary of the WPK.

Present there were members of political parties, public organizations, organizations of friendship and solidarity with the DPRK people and the Juche idea study groups in those countries.

The meetings formed preparatory committees for celebrating the founding anniversary of the WPK, elected their chairmen and fixed the period for celebration.

The meetings decided to send congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, hold seminars and commemorative lectures on immortal revolutionary exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Unin founding and developing the WPK, widely introduce and propagate their exploits through mass media and publications and organize colorful political and cultural events including congratulatory visit to the DPRK embassy, celebration gatherings, photo and film shows and publication of commemorative articles.
