On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s demise, chiefs of the Sri Lanka Memorial Committee for H.E. Kim Jong Il and the Lebanon Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a statement and a talk in the period from December 12 to 17, 2022.
In the statement, the Sri Lanka Memorial Committee for H.E. Kim Jong Il praised highly the immortal exploits of H.E Kim Jong Il, Chairman of National Defence Commission, who devoted his whole life to supporting President Kim Il Sung’s idea and cause with loyalty. Noting that the cause of the preceding leaders is being carried forward successfully by H.E. Kim Jong Un, the statement extended firm support to the efforts of the Party, government and people of the DPRK to build a prosperous socialist state.
The chief of the Lebanon Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a talk through internet. He praised highly that Chairman Kim Jong Il was the people’s leader who devoted his all to prosperity of the country and happiness of the people. Referring in detail to the Chairman’s revolutionary life and immortal exploits, he stressed that the noble image of the Chairman, who devoted his all to serving the people till the last moment of his life, will be kept forever in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives.
