On the occasion of the 45th founding anniversary of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, such events as a national seminar in India and seminars on President Kim Il Sung’s exploits in Italy and Uganda, an on-line seminar by the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics in East European and Central Asian Regions, a seminar on works in South Africa, a lecture meeting in Tanzania, a commemorative lecture meeting and film show by the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, a gathering of veteran Juche idea followers and new ones in the DR Congo and a film show by the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Uakam, Senegal, were held. The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, who doubles as the chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a talk on the homepage Juche Idea.
The events were attended by public figures of all social standings including political, public and press circles, and members of organizations of friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study groups in those countries. Speeches were made at the events.
Referring to the fact that President Kim Il Sung clarified the principle of the Juche idea that masters of the Korean revolution are the Korean people and the Korean revolution should be carried out by the Korean people themselves in keeping with actual conditions of Korea, speakers highly praised that the President was a great statesman who thoroughly adhered to the principle of Juche in ideology, independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in defence in the whole process of leading the DPRK and built the people-centred socialism of Korean style.
Speakers said… The Juche idea is, in a word, an original ideology that man is the master of his own destiny and has strength to shape it. Essence of the Juche idea is the independence, and the independence is realized by self-reliance. The reality of the DPRK, who establishes the principle of self-reliance thoroughly in all fields, encourages the people in many countries to advance along the road of independence. The Juche idea authored by President Kim Il Sung and developed and enriched by H.E. Kim Jong Il proves more viable under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un. The immortal Juche idea is widely disseminated in many countries and regions of the world while attracting those who aspire after progress and justice. The Juche idea will be immortal as the great guiding ideology in the era of independence and encourage forever the world progressives so that they can advance toward independence.
In his talk, the chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea offered warm congratulations to the 45th founding anniversary of the IIJI and stressed that the foundation of the IIJI was an important and noteworthy event in the development of the international socialist movement that was supported by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the DPRK people, and is now supported by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
