Juche

The Swiss Memorial Committee for President Kim Il Sung was formed in Basel on June 10, 2023 on the occasion of the 29^th anniversary of his demise.

The memorial committee consisted of members of the Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea elected its chairman and made public a statement.

Noting that, together with the DPRK people, all friends of the DPRK and the Juche idea followers throughout the world remember the President respectfully, the statement praised highly that he was a prominent leader of the state, a great master of world politics who enjoyed boundless admiration and respect of the world people as he made immortal contributions to the accomplishment of the cause of global independence.

The memorial committee set the days from June 12 to July 10, 2023 as the memorial period and decided to hold many events during the period.
