Preparatory committees for celebrating Chairman Kim Jong Il’s birth anniversary have been formed in different countries since January 6, 2024 on the occasion of his 82^nd birth anniversary.

Present at the inaugural meetings were members of political parties, public organizations and associations of friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study groups in relevant countries.

Chairmen of the committees were elected and celebration period fixed at the meetings. The meetings decided to send congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, widely introduce and propagate the Chairman’s immortal revolutionary career and achievements through mass media and hold various political and cultural events.
