Memorial committees for President Kim Il Sung were formed in the DR Congo, Denmark, the UK, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Austria, Norway, Russia, Finland, Pakistan and Romania from June 21 to 28, 2023 on the occasion of the 29^th anniversary of his demise.

Chairpersons, vice-chairpersons and members of the memorial committees were elected at the inaugural meetings which were attended by the figures from the political parties and public organizations and the members of organizations of solidarity and friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study organizations in relevant countries.

The memorial committees set the memorial periods and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events in those periods.

The memorial committee formed by the associations for the study of the Juche idea in Russia and the Hungarian Memorial Committee for President Kim Il Sung decided to send messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 29^th anniversary of Kim Il Sung’s demise.
