The working class of the West is plunged into darkness because of the durable capitalist crisis. The United States of America and the European Union are tightening the noose on the working-class in order to continue increasing their profits. They speak of the “free” nations of America or Europe, but we know that the only ones who are free in those countries are the ruling classes that live by parasitizing the work of the majority. And, since socialism acquires a scientific character, it is unmasked that there exist two classes in the exploiter society: on one hand, the minority of the exploiters and, on the other hand, the majority of workers, peasants and intellectuals.

It is the history of communist movement that also teaches us that a nation cannot be independent if a minority exploits and bleeds the vast majority of the nation. Independence is, as President Kim Il Sung said, man's attribute of living free as the owner of the world. What nation is independent if the majority of its people do not have power over themselves through reforms that its bourgeois governments carry out? There is one thing we need to be clear about: national independence is socialism, it is the power of the workers, peasants and intellectuals at the service of the revolution.

The 20^th century was a century of struggle of independent nations against parasitic nations, of socialist countries against capitalist countries. A fruition of that struggle is the brave Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which as long as it fervently defends its independence from imperialism, is the guiding beacon for nations around the world.

The experiences of the DPRK have shown that not only overcoming the bourgeois society and breaking the chains of oppression but making a small country a world reference is possible when the people become independent.

It is useless to claim the fatherland if we do not want to bring the nation of workers, peasants and intellectuals to power. Nation-sellers are of no use to us who, on one hand, claim the nation and, on the other hand, subjugate it. Communism and love for the country are what put the peoples and nations of the world on the path of progress and, what better than those nations that are free to follow their example, such as the Korean nation.
