The DPRK has opened up a path of state development and become a dignified country as it has its own peculiar ideology and political philosophy of the state.

Today, many people call the DPRK a people’s country, a country of independence.

Of course, there are forces who denounce it.

However, anyone, who has a correct understanding of the DPRK’s history and reality, can know that it covers a correct path while braving all sorts of challenges with its correct guiding ideology and by relying on united strength of all its people.

That the DPRK is a people’s country, a country of independence is, in my opinion, a correct appraisal of this country.

The DPRK is a people’s country.

This means that, in the DPRK, the priority is given to interests of the people from all walks of life and everything serves the materialization of their interests.

That the DPRK becomes a people’s country is an inevitable fruition born by the Juche idea.

Foundation of the Juche idea was declared in 1930 by President Kim Il Sung. It is the idea that the popular masses are masters of the revolution and construction and have the strength to propel the revolution and construction.

President Kim Il Sung applied the Juche idea in realities of Korea and thus built modern Korea.

He led the revolution and construction as required by the Juche idea and by relying on strength of its people and turned the DPRK into a people’s country where all people are equal and social justice is realized.

The President always found himself among the people to share sweets and bitters with them during his whole life

Many people still remember the President’s saying “Go among the people!”

The Iutimad News where I work as an executive director and an editor-in-chief, edited and carried an article on his saying on the newspaper.

This saying implies principle of the President’s life.

I was told that, whenever personages from different countries visited the DPRK and asked him the secret of its achievements, President Kim Il Sung used to say that he always went among the ordinary people to listen to their good opinions and that they were his teacher.

In the last century, the DPRK won victory after victory along the road it had chosen, without any mistakes in its lines or vicissitudes as the President’s policies reflected the people’s will and desire, thus enjoying their absolute support and trust.

President Kim Il Sung is eternal in memory of the people as a successful statesman, a benevolent people’s leader who left sacred marks in the political history of the 20^th century.

Today in the DPRK, the idea of people-first principle has become mode of existence of the Party and the state, a criterion of all their activities and, as a result, all resources of the country are directed into the improvement of the people’s well-being thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK has taken state emergency measures for the people in the flood-hit areas to stabilize their living in the shortest period in recent years and is now continuing such policies of loving the people and posterity as the accelerating of the plan of building the people’s flats and the preferential producing and free supplying of dairy goods and school uniforms and things for children, even under hostile forces’ sanctions and blockade and ever more increasing difficulties and challenges caused by prevention measures against the pandemic. This tells that the people-first principle is translated into reality in the DPRK.

Popular character of the Korean society is being further strengthened under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

I think that this is vitality of the Juche idea.

The DPRK is a country of independence.

This implies that this country regards independence and dignity as its life and soul, makes no concession as regards with them and never tolerates any move of intervention and domination.

All policies of the DPRK’s Party and state are run through with independence.

I think this is a certain result of the Juche idea.

The world people are surprised at the fact that the DPRK advances invariably along the road it chose without being moved by any political, economic and military threat in the present world where hegemonic politics of the US and other big powers are predominant.

Many people in the world recognize the DPRK as a country where the US threats and blackmail do not work, unlike other countries.

The DPRK has its own powerful military capabilities, thus defending its independence and dignity not with words but with strength.

Thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il, the DPRK built and developed its solid munitions industry and it has reached a high phase in the era of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Today the DPRK fully demonstrates its existence of a powerful independent country that possesses even nuclear deterrent.

I have not visited the DPRK yet. But I, as a Kuwaiti pressman who loves the DPRK, came to know that the DPRK’s powerful weapon of advance and development is the Juche idea when I, in the last period, saw and heard the news about the DPRK and made efforts to study the Juche idea and know realities of the DPRK.

The DPRK’s popular policies and independent politics are based on the Juche idea, the people-centered political philosophy.

The Juche idea is the great ideology that made great contributions to the founding, strengthening and development of modern Korea and the ideology that must be studied and delved in by anyone who aspires for realization of people’s well-being and independence.

There are many people who make efforts to realize residents’ well-being and enforce the independent policies in Kuwait and other Arab countries in the Middle East.

However, they failed to do it because they stood back before many challenges.

Of course, big successes were achieved in realizing the people’s well-being by relying on huge funds created by exporting crude oil. But, as remarkable progress has not been made in realizing unity of the countries in the region, they cannot but depend on big countries in order to defend their natural resources and secure territorial integrity.

I think it is important to study the DPRK’s experiences and the Juche idea in order to seek more accurate ways of realizing social justice, materializing the masses’ well-being, checking foreign pressure and intervention and enforcing independent external and internal policies in the Middle East region where intervention was serious by big powers.

I wish the Korean people a bigger success in the struggle to advance vigorously holding the banner of the Juche idea under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
